History, faith, and the courage to act

The broadcast voice of Allies for a Strong Australia. Deep Dive interviews, The Briefing, and Field & Documentary episodes, equipping Australians to understand what is at stake, and to act.

Where we come from

The Allies Podcast is not starting from scratch. It is the broadcast voice of an existing and growing national movement: The Allies for a Strong Australia. Since October 7, 2023, Mark Leach, founder of Never Again Is Now, has been building a citizen movement to make antisemitism unthinkable in Australia: a weekly eNewsletter, chapters in 21 federal electorates, seminars around the country, and engagement with the national Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.

On December 14, 2025, a terrorist attack on a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach killed 15 people, the worst antisemitic attack in Australian history. It changed everything. The podcast launches in the after, with the gravitas that moment demands: a platform for the sustained, nuanced, deeply personal conversations a weekly newsletter cannot contain.

The mission

To make antisemitism unthinkable, through sustained public conversation that equips Australians with the historical, theological and civilisational framework they need to understand what is at stake, and to act. Antisemitism is not a Jewish problem. It is the vector of attack on Western liberal civilisation. When it rises, everything else follows. This show addresses that truth through the one thing that changes minds: authentic, unhurried, personally grounded conversation.

Who it's for

First, the persuadable middle: mainstream Australians who sense something is wrong in the country but lack a framework to understand it, open to the argument when it's made clearly and personally. Second, the existing Allies community: subscribers, chapter members and YouTube audience with skin in the game. And third, the global Anglosphere: the UK, US and Canada face the same pressures. Built for Australian relevance, designed for global reach.

The three formats

Type A · 45–75 min

Deep Dive Interviews

The flagship format: substantive, unhurried, personal. An introduction under two minutes, then straight into the conversation. Each episode is named The Allies: [Guest Name]. Mark's thirty years of pastoral listening put to work drawing out what guests really think.

Type B · 15–25 min

The Briefing

"This is The Briefing. I'm Mark Leach." Mark's solo voice on current affairs, timely analysis and direct opinion, straight into the topic with no preamble. Nimble and reactive; keeps the show current between major interviews.

Type C · 30–55 min

Field & Documentary

The prestige format, released every four to six weeks. On-location, longer-form produced pieces: Mark in Israel, in Canberra, at the Bondi memorial, at a chapter meeting, where these questions are lived.
