Your host
Mark Leach is the founder of Never Again Is Now. On October 9, 2023, he stood on the steps of St Andrew's Cathedral waving an Israeli flag, before most commentators had understood what was happening. Since then he has built a citizen movement with chapters in 21 federal electorates, a weekly newsletter, and seminars around the country.
Born to a German Jewish mother who fled the Holocaust and a Catholic South African father, Mark studied medicine, philosophy and classical Greek in Cape Town, was ordained an Anglican clergyman in Sydney, and has spent thirty years as a pastor, teacher and leadership coach. Few people can speak with equal fluency about Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Mark can. And the stakes, for him, are personal.
When civilisation needs allies
Antisemitism is not a Jewish problem. It is the vector of attack on Western liberal civilisation. When it rises, everything else follows. Since the Bondi attack of December 2025, there is a before and an after in Australia. This podcast exists for the after: to give Australians the historical, theological and civilisational framework to understand what is at stake, and to act.
